Three Chapters

Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account on Three Chapters, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the service. We've kept things as straightforward as possible, but these terms do form a legal agreement between you and Three Chapters Ltd.

2. What Three Chapters is

Three Chapters is a cloud-based CRM designed specifically for wedding professionals. It helps you manage enquiries, bookings, invoices, and client communications — all in one place.

We handle the software. You handle the weddings.

3. Eligibility

To use Three Chapters you must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate wedding services business. You must not be located in, or ordinarily resident in, any country or territory subject to comprehensive trade sanctions by the United Kingdom, European Union, or United States. We reserve the right to close accounts that don't meet these requirements.

4. Your account

When you sign up, please provide accurate and up-to-date information. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

Each business should have one account. If you need to change ownership or transfer an account, get in touch and we'll help.

5. Acceptable use

We trust our users to be decent people. That said, please don't:

  • Upload or store illegal content
  • Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the service
  • Resell access to Three Chapters
  • Impersonate another person or business

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

6. Your data

You own your business data. We process it on your behalf in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

When it comes to your clients' personal information — the couples whose details you store in Three Chapters — you are the data controller under GDPR. That means you're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect their data and for meeting your own obligations to them. We act as your data processor.

7. Intellectual property

Three Chapters owns the platform, its code, and its design. You retain full rights to any content you upload — your photos, text, logos, and documents remain yours.

We won't use your content for marketing or any other purpose without your explicit permission.

8. Payment terms

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. You can view your plan and billing details in your account settings at any time.

If we change our pricing, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price takes effect. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you're free to cancel before your next renewal.

9. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep Three Chapters running smoothly and reliably. Where possible, we'll give advance notice of scheduled maintenance.

That said, we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Outages, bugs, and the occasional hiccup are a reality of running any software service, and we'll always work to resolve issues as quickly as we can.

10. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is capped at the total fees you've paid us in the 12 months before any claim arises.

We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages — including lost revenue, lost bookings, or lost data — to the extent permitted by law.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. None of this limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

11. Termination

Either of us can end this agreement with 30 days' notice. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time.

Before your account is deleted, you'll have the opportunity to export your data. Once deletion is complete, your data is removed in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know at least 30 days in advance via email.

Continued use of Three Chapters after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're based in the EU, you retain any additional protections available to you under your local consumer law.

14. Sanctions compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not (a) identified on any sanctions list maintained by the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), or the European Union; (b) owned or controlled by any such designated person or entity; or (c) ordinarily resident in any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, including occupied territories of Ukraine. We may terminate your account immediately if we determine that continued access would violate applicable sanctions laws.
